This Geet is to invite all the Gods to make the holy work a good success.  All the Gods are invited in every work, so this geet is the essential one to sing. It is sung just after Ganesh Pooja. In this song all the gods are requested to come and give blessings. With Gods other members are also invited to fulfill the required needs.
In this Geet Brahmin is invited to do the process with which Gods are invited that is written as reading VED Mantra. Here in this geet Jyoshi Jyu refers to Jyotishi (Astrologer) who suggests the best day to do the work, written as LAGAN. Married Ladies are called to sing the Karm Geet, Devta Nimantran is one of them. Kamini is a name to address the ladies who illuminate lamps. Malini is the address to lady who uesd to work with flowers and making garlands. Bhyuriya is the Gardner who brings the grass. This Grass is essential for Ganesh Pooja & Devta Nimantarn. Dhiwarini is the fisherlady who brings water. She brings water as a form of Shakun. Ahirani and Gujarini are the symbol for Dairy-maids.

Shakunakhar is the "Shagun ke Akshar" sung during mangal kaaj. Shakunakhar or Shakunakshar is mainly sung in every ritual. It is sung in starting of holy work. Mangal Kaaj Generally women used to sing these songs. In Kumauni these ladies are known as "GIDARI". When any karm or sanskaar takes place at home the main ladies Gidari, for the ritual songs, are called similar to Bramhin.  Some of various rituals and karms are: 1) Naamkaran 2) Yagyopaweet 3) Vivah 4) Navgrah Poojan 5) Grih Pravesh 6) Satyanarayan Katha etc. Shakunakhar is the song in which God is prayed to make all the well happenings around.
