When any karm or sanskaar takes place at home the main ladies Gidari, for the ritual songs, are called similar to Bramhin.  Some of various rituals and karms are: 1) Naamkaran 2) Yagyopaweet 3) Vivah 4) Navgrah Poojan 5) Grih Pravesh 6) Satyanarayan Katha etc. Shakunakhar is the song in which God is prayed to make all the well happenings around.
